The Algerian Society of Engineering and Technology (ASET) is a scientific and cultural association whose members voluntarily contribute their knowledge and resources to promote its main activities.

The association primarily aims to:

• Establishing a national network of university professors, researchers, engineers, and technicians relevant to various fields of engineering.
• Creating a framework of expertise and support for industrialists in all sectors. Encouraging scientific research aimed at solving industrial problems.
• Organizing and sponsoring scientific conferences and workshops.
• Organizing and sponsoring training courses for industrial sectors. Interacting with governmental and sectoral approaches in national impact project policies.
• Interacting with governmental and sectoral approaches to energy policy.
• Creating high-level journals to promote scientific research.
